Kitsap Announces a Number of Personnel Changes

BREMERTON,  Wash.—Kitsap Credit Union is excited to announce the promotion of Eric Crabtree to Senior Vice President / Chief Digital Experience Officer, along with several other promotions.

In his new role, Crabtree will lead the credit union’s digital strategy across all member touch points, overseeing both the vice president of operations and the vice president of digital innovation. His leadership will ensure a unified, forward-thinking digital experience aligned with Kitsap Credit Union’s mission to meet members’ evolving needs, the credi tunoin said. 

“We’re thrilled to promote Eric Crabtree to Chief Digital Experience Officer,” President and CEO Shawn Gilfedder said in a statement. “Eric’s ability to lead strategic digital initiatives and his dedication to improving the member experience has been instrumental to our success. In this new role, I’m confident that he will continue to drive digital transformation and help us meet the evolving needs of our members.”

Most recently, Eric served as Chief Digital Strategist, where he implemented a cohesive digital roadmap that enhanced the member experience and supported long-term business goals. With executive experience across global financial and technology institutions, Eric brings deep expertise and a strong passion for digital innovation and service excellence.

Additional Promotions

To further strengthen the leadership team, Kitsap Credit Union recently appointed Luke Peterson as Vice President of Marketing and Andy Wrightas Vice President of Product Strategy. 

Luke Peterson Joins as Vice President of Marketing

Kitsap Credit Union is proud to welcome Luke Peterson as its new Vice President of Marketing. With more than 20 years of experience, Luke will lead efforts to build brand awareness, drive digital and branch engagement, increase product adoption, and reduce member churn.

“Luke is a data-driven strategist with a vision to grow Kitsap Credit Union’s impact and expand assets to $5 billion. Passionate about financial empowerment, he is dedicated to educating communities on better alternatives to predatory lending. Luke’s leadership background includes roles at T-Mobile, AT&T Wireless, Getty Images, and DoubleDown Interactive,” the credit union said.

He holds a BA from Brown University and an MBA from the University of Washington’s Foster School of Business.

Andy Wright Appointed Vice President of Product Strategy

Andy Wright joins the credit union as Vice President of Product Strategy, where he will lead product development to ensure Kitsap Credit Union’s offerings remain competitive, innovative, and aligned with member needs. His role includes shaping a comprehensive product vision that drives growth and supports the credit union’s mission.

Andy previously served as Vice President of Marketing & Community Impact at TAPCO Credit Union, where he was an active DEIBA Council Member and founder of the DEIBA Book Club. He also volunteers with Metro Parks Tacoma and participates in the Go West Recognition Advisory Group. Known for his community-first mindset and strategic thinking, Andy brings a passion for member-centric innovation and inclusive growth.
