Kris Callahan Named VP-People & Culture by Johns Hopkins FCU

BALTIMORE–Johns Hopkins FCU has named Kris Callahan as its new vice president of people & culture.

Throughout his career, Callahan has built a reputation as a transformational HR leader who combines business strategy with a people-first mindset. He has led

organizations through complex change while strengthening culture, introduced leadership programs that create clear paths for growth and succession, and launched inclusive initiatives that drive engagement and belonging. His background includes leadership roles in retail, global operations, and high-growth startups, where he has consistently positioned HR as both a strategic partner to executives and a trusted advocate for employees. This experience uniquely positions him to advance JHFCU’s culture and ensure its people strategy fuels the credit union’s long-term success.
