RICHMOND, Va. — The League of Credit Unions has named Nadine Slocum to its advocacy team as senior director of governmental affairs in Virginia.

“Credit unions are a vital part of the financial well-being of our communities, and I’m honored to join an organization so deeply committed to advocacy and member impact,” said Slocum in a statement. “I look forward to building strong legislative partnerships that support the credit union mission in Virginia.”

Slocum brings more than a decade of state and federal experience in government relations, advocacy, and strategic communications.
