MARSHALL, Mich.–Marshall Community Credit Union (MCCU) and Marshall High School (MHS) have again partnered on their annual “Save More Thoughtfully” promotion, which will run through Dec. 12 at the MHS CU in-school branch.
During the promotion, every deposit made by students and staff will be matched by MCCU—up to $25 per deposit—with the total matched funds donated to the LINKS and NEXUS programs at the high school, the $351.2-million credit union said.

According to MCCU, the LINKS and NEXUS programs foster connection, empathy, and leadership among students who serve as mentors to their peers in the Secondary Functional Program.
Every deposit supports students’ financial growth and programs that directly benefit their classmates, the credit union added.
‘Small Actions, Big Difference’
“This initiative gives students the chance to see firsthand how small actions can make a big difference,” Laura Van Dyke, MCCU’s community & youth engagement manager, said in a statement. “The promotion has become a beloved tradition among students, combining financial wellness with community impact.”
