Marshfield Medical Center FCU Celebrates 60th Anniversary, Raises $2,000

MARSHFIELD, Wis.–Marshfield Medical Center Credit Union (MMCCU) celebrated its 60th anniversary with a Member Appreciation event, raising $2,000 to support the Ronald McDonald House.

“Despite chilly weather and light rain, a large crowd turned out to enjoy an evening of food, fun, and community,” the credit union said. “Guests took part in activities including a complimentary brat fry, bounce houses, raffles, face painting, live music, and games.”

The event was free and open to the public, with proceeds from raffles, bake sales, and other activities benefiting Ronald McDonald House.

“Sixty years is a milestone we are very proud of, and we are grateful to our members and the community who came together to celebrate with us,” MMCCU President David Murphy said in a statement. “It was especially meaningful to see everyone’s support for the Ronald McDonald House, an organization that makes such a difference for families in need.”

The anniversary event not only honored six decades of service but also underscored MMCCU’s ongoing commitment to giving back, it said.
