MDDCCUA, CrossState Association to Host One-Day Meeting for Small CUs

COLUMBIA, Md./HARRISBURG, Penn. — The MD|DC Credit Union Association and the CrossState Credit Union Association said they will cohost a one-day regional conference for small-asset credit unions on Oct. 2 at First Financial FCU in Sparks Glencoe, Md.

According to ther organizations, the conference is designed to help smaller credit unions tackle their unique challenges by focusing on collaboration, creative thinking, and making strong connections. 

Attendees will hear from experts and get the chance to share ideas with their peers, the two associations added.

The Topics

Topics will include:

  • An update on the latest industry developments
  • A look at how two credit unions partnered to solve a talent issue
  • Strategies for growing member loyalty.
  • Investing in your team and workplace culture on a tight budget.

A networking reception will cap off the day.

“Partnering with the CrossState Credit Union Association to support our small-asset credit unions is what our movement is all about,” John Bratsakis, president and CEO of the MD|DC Credit Union Association, said in a  statement. “The conference will provide small-asset credit unions with an opportunity to discover solutions to common challenges and engage with their peers in the region.”
