GAITHERSBURG, Md. —Mid-Atlantic FCU has named Edward Connelly as its CFO. With more than two decades of experience in banking and credit unions, he brings a proven track record of financial leadership, operational excellence, and a deep commitment to service, the credit union said.
“We are excited to welcome Ed to our leadership team,” President and CEO Tami Schiavone said in a statement. “His financial expertise and commitment to service will help strengthen our credit union as we grow and innovate to help members move their financial lives forward.”
Beyond his professional achievements, Connelly has a long history of community service, from volunteering with charitable organizations and food banks to supporting local chambers of commerce and mentoring students.
