EAST LANSING, Mich.–MSU Federal Credit Union (MSUFCU) has launched its new virtual reality game, Campus Explorer Experience, which it described as an “immersive, 5–15 minute journey that integrates MSUFCU into the Michigan State University (MSU) campus.”

The interactive VR game allows students to explore iconic campus locations and engage with financial learning in a fun and meaningful way, according to MSUFCU.

The Highlights

The credit union said highlights of the experience include:

  • A bird’s-eye view of MSU with interactive campus landmarks
  • Painting the rock
  • Stepping into Spartan Stadium
  • Visiting the MSU Dairy Store and exploring payment options
  • Throwing frisbees with Zeke the Wonderdog, while learning quick financial tips

‘Better Together’

Campus Explorer Experience aims to promote financial literacy and help students understand the services available to them at MSU, the credit union added.

“The game highlights how MSU and MSUFCU are better together, by combining financial wellness with an engaging, interactive campus experience,” VP-Community Impact Arianna Ridderbusch said in a statement. “It provides students with financial learning opportunities in a fun and meaningful way, especially as many navigate life at college for the very first time.”

Campus Explorer Experience was developed in collaboration with MSU’s Games for Entertainment and Learning Lab.
