Multipli CU Becomes Official CU of Mizzou Athletics

COLUMBIA, Md.–Multipli Credit Union said it has become the official credit union of Mizzou Athletics, the athletic program at the University of Missouri, in a deal that includes naming rights to some facilities.

Multipli Credit Union said it has become, alongside Shelter Insurance and MU Health Care, one of only three Diamond Club Level Partners through a revamped Premier Partner Program.

“We are thrilled to welcome Multipli Credit Union as the newest Diamond Club Partner of Mizzou Athletics,” University of Missouri Director of Athletics Laird Veatch said in a statement. “Strong corporate partnerships are vital to our sustained success, and Multipli’s commitment demonstrates belief in how Mizzou Athletics and our student-athletes can help businesses connect to our strong community. I have enjoyed my conversations with CEO Rick Nichols and appreciate his recognition of the opportunities this partnership presents for Multipli and Mizzou. We look forward to seeing more partners follow Multipli’s lead and demonstrating their ‘Will to Win’ alongside our coaches, student-athletes and staff.”

Naming Rights

As part of the sponsorship, the terms of which were not disclosed, Multipli Credit Union will also gain club level naming rights at both Mizzou Football’s Memorial Stadium, where the south endzone premium area formerly known as the Show Me Club will be officially renamed the Multipli Club, and Mizzou Arena, home of the Tigers’ men’s and women’s basketball teams.

“This premium visibility not only elevates the Multipli brand during Tigers games but also reinforces its unwavering support for Mizzou Athletics,” the organization said in a statement.

NIL Deal

In addition, Multipli Credit Union said it is committed to “significantly bolstering” Mizzou’s name, image, likeness (NIL) initiative, including through sponsored content, targeted digital campaigns, and enriching community events.

“The partnership extends its impact beyond major sports, with a substantial investment in Mizzou’s Olympic programs, particularly the nationally competitive gymnastics team,” the organizations said.

The organizations added the Multipli logo will feature prominently during televised competitions, ensuring visibility on apparatuses and the competition floor, bringing heightened recognition to Mizzou Gymnastics and its student-athletes.

‘Aligns With Mission’

“We are proud to invest in Mizzou Athletics, empowering student-athletes and connecting with fans throughout Tiger Nation,” Multipli President and CEO Rick Nichols said in a statement. “Our commitment to supporting student-athletes, particularly through innovative NIL opportunities, aligns with our mission to contribute positively to our community and empower individuals in their financial journeys.”
