ALEXANDRIA, Va.– In the wake of a 20% reduction in its staff during 2025, the National Credit Union Administration has announced the members of executive leadership team for 2026
The staff reductions followed an Executive Order from the White House in early 2025, with many of its staff members accepting buyouts in order to exit. Two of its board members, Democrats Todd Harper and Tanya Otsuka, were fired by President Trump in April of 2025, leaving Republican Kyle Hauptman as the lone board member and chairman. Harper and Otsuka are currently pursuing litigation as they seek to return to their board seats.
The newly announced appointments also reflect some individuals being named to permanent roles from acting roles.
