NCUA Issues Prohibition Orders Permanently Banning 2 People from Working in Credit Unions

ALEXANDRIA, Va.― NCUA has issued two conviction-based prohibitions in March 2026. Permanently prohibited from participating in the affairs of any federally insured depository institution are:

  • Daniel Johnson, a former employee of Richmond City Employees Federal Credit Union, Richmond City, Ind., who was convicted and sentenced in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Indiana with two counts of two counts of Bank Fraud, 18 U.S.C. § 1344(1). 
  • Jacqueline Burns, a former employee of Galveston Government Employees Credit Union, La Marque, Texas, who was convicted and sentenced in in the 10th District Court of Galveston County, Texas with the offense of Theft of Property between $150,000 – $300,000, Texas Penal Code 31.03(k).
