JACKSONVILLE, Fla.–In a sports arena named after one credit union in this city, team will play that is named after another credit union.
RadiFi Credit Union said it has become the Presenting Sponsor of the Jacksonville Waves, the city’s newest professional women’s basketball team and a founding franchise of the UPSHOT League.
“This partnership reflects an empowering alignment between two organizations committed to uplifting communities, creating opportunity, and inspiring people to live more vibrant lives,” Radifi CU said in a statement.

Set to debut in May 2026, the Jacksonville Waves are part of the UPSHOT League, which Radifi said is a groundbreaking women’s professional basketball league designed to elevate athletes, engage fans, and strengthen communities through sport. “The league’s mission centers on opportunity and connection, creating a platform where players shine and cities rally behind them,” the credit union added.
As Presenting Sponsor, RadiFi Credit Union said it will play a central role in bringing the Waves experience to life, both on and off the court, through high-impact branding, fan engagement, and community-driven initiatives.
