BAYTOWN, Texas–Community Resource Credit Union (CRCU) has named a new president and CEO.
The $904.4-million CRCU said it has selected Chad Heese to lead the organization.

Heese has more than 20 years of executive leadership in credit uions. Prior to joining CRCU, he served as chief lending and strategy officer at Medford, Ore.-based Rogue Credit Union for nine years, overseeing business intelligence, product development and lending operations. He also served as chief credit officer at Las Vegas-based Clark County Credit Union, where he helped lead business transformation and lending operations.
“Chad’s experience and leadership style reflect the values CRCU holds dear,” Chairman Bill Vola said in a statement. “He’s the right person to carry our vision forward, and the Board is united in its belief that he will advance CRCU’s mission with the same excellence and purpose that define our organization today.”

Additional Accomplishments
Heese is a certified chief executive officer through the Credit Union Executive Society and holds an Executive MBA from Washington State University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. His executive education includes coursework at Wharton, Cornell and Darden.
In addition to his professional background, Heese is actively involved in community service, including his work as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) and service on nonprofit boards supporting mediation and affordable housing.
