HAUPPAUGE, N.Y.—New York-based Teachers Federal Credit Union is continuing its expansion in Florida with the opening of a second branch in the Sunshine State.
The $9.9-billion Teachers CU, which has approximately 467,000 members, is opening its newest branch in Naples, in Southwest Florida. The credit union called the expansion a “significant step forward in Teachers Federal Credit Union’s strategic growth plans and continued commitment to serving members and communities across the country.”
Teachers FCU also has a branch in the Tampa area.

More Than an FI
“Teachers is more than a financial institution, it’s an extension of the communities we serve,” President and CEO Brad C. Calhoun said in a statement. “Our new Naples branch is a continuation of our long-term investment in Florida. We are proud to join this thriving community and expand access to banking that is truly ‘Smart For All’.”
Teachers FCU said the new facility has been designed with flexibility and convenience in mind, and features a bright, welcoming space with varied interaction zones tailored to individuals and families.
‘The Best Tools’
“Whether in-person, online, or through its mobile app, Teachers is committed to equipping its members with the best tools, products and expert support needed to achieve lasting financial success,” the credit union said in its statement.
As part of its commitment to the Naples community, Teachers FCU said it looks forward to forging new local partnerships and supporting charitable initiatives throughout the region.
