NY Fed President John Williams to Speak to GAC

WASHINGTON–John C. Williams, president and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, has been added to the speaker lineup at America’s Credit Unions upcoming Governmental Affairs Conference (GAC).

The trade group said the remarks will address key economic and policy developments and will be moderated by a moderated question-and-answer session. 

Williams is scheduled to speak March 3 at 9:55 a.m. EST on the main stage.

Williams has served as president and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York since 2018 and is a permanent voting member of the Federal Open Market Committee. Previously, he led the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco and has held senior research roles within the Federal Reserve System. He holds a Ph.D. in economics from Stanford University.
