NUTLEY, N.J.–Proponent Federal Credit Union is offering $150 to members who refer a family member or coworker to the credit union for membership.
In making its announcement, the $515-million Proponent FCU cautioned that to join an individual must be a member of one of its select employee groups, which include Holy Family Church, Friends of the Nutley Public Library, the Nutley Chamber of Commerce, and others.
At the same time, the nearly 19,000-member PFCU is also promoting a Visa card with 0% APR on purchases for 12 months, with no annual fee. The card also offers points are redeemable for travel discounts and gift cards.
