CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State Credit Union has become the first-ever sponsor for the Oregon State University women’s soccer team.
The sponsorship, which began at the start of the 2025 school year, will provide financial support and other resources to help elevate the team on and off the field, the credit union said.

“Oregon State Credit Union is proud to support athletic teams and other programs at Oregon State University,” Oregon State Credit Union President/CEO Gary Schuette II said in a statement. “Our sponsorship of the women’s soccer team is a tangible expression of our belief in the power of sport to equip athletes with the confidence, resilience, teamwork and leadership skills that will help them succeed throughout their lives.”

Oregon State Credit Union’s sponsorship, coordinated with Beaver Sports Properties – the exclusive multimedia rights holder for Oregon State Athletics – will back the team with financial resources, including name, image and likeness funding for athletes, the credit union said.
“The agreement includes opportunities for students, credit union members and the broader community to engage with the women’s soccer team through events that celebrate the value of women’s sports,” OSCU said. “These experiences will foster meaningful connections and highlight the impact of athletic inclusion and inspiration.”
The first signature sponsored game for the team will be on Oct. 4 when it takes on the University of Portland in Corvallis.
