PENSACOLA, Fla. — PenAir Credit Union (PenAir) is pleased to announce the appointment of Jeffrey Long as its new Mortgage Sales Manager, bringing more than 20 years of leadership experience in mortgage lending, sales growth strategy, and multi-state team development.
In this role, Long will lead PenAir’s mortgage sales strategy, focusing on expanding market reach, strengthening lending relationships, and supporting teams that deliver a best-in-class homebuying experience for members, the credit union said.

Long joins PenAir after a successful career leading regional and national mortgage teams, overseeing production volumes exceeding $2.5 billion, and driving growth across multiple states including Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa, Nebraska, North Carolina, Texas, and Florida.
Most recently, Long served as a banker with Wings Financial Credit Union, where he played a key role in opening a new branch location, training staff, and enhancing overall lending performance. His background also includes leadership roles with Wells Fargo, Prime Lending/Fairway IMC, and HomeServices of America/Edina Realty Mortgage.
Throughout his career, Long has been recognized for excellence in business development, strategic planning, coaching, and onboarding. He has supported the launch of new retail locations, led CRM system implementations, and facilitated continuing education for groups ranging from 200 to 800 attendees.
Long holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from Western Carolina University. Originally from Minnesota, he recently relocated to Southern Alabama.
