CHATSWORTH, Calif.– Premier America Foundation and Premier America Credit Union have announced a $1 million donation to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Oxnard and Port Hueneme to support a multi-million-dollar renovation of the facility in in Port Hueneme.
Representatives from both organizations, the fundraising committee and the mayor of Port Hueneme, Martha McQueen-Legohn, were on hand for the presentation of the donation.
“This place represents the future of the Port Hueneme community,” Premier America CU President and CEO Rudy Pereira said in a statement. “We are here to support them, every step of the way.”
In recognition of the donation, the renovated club will be named the Premier America Boys & Girls Clubhouse.
‘Safe & Vibrant’
Added Alex Gallardo, VP-community Impact & financial wellness and executive director of the Premier America Foundation, in a statement, “This investment represents our ongoing commitment to providing the youth in Ventura County opportunities to build safe and vibrant futures.”
According to the credit union, once complete, the upgraded Clubhouse will feature modern, high-end spaces—including a STEAM Lab, eSports lounge, teen center, and other luxury amenities—designed to inspire creativity, confidence, and connection.

“This transformation reflects the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Oxnard and Port Hueneme’s commitment to providing a safe, welcoming home away from home where every young person can learn, grow, and thrive,” the organizations said. “With Premier America’s leadership gift helping bring this vision to life, their name on the building will stand as a daily reminder of what’s possible when a community invests in youth.”
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Oxnard and Port Hueneme is Ventura County’s largest Boys & Girls Club, serving more than 5,200 youth annually and 2,400 daily.
