LAS VEGAS—The date for next Underground Collision meeting to be hosted by Mitchell Stankovic & Associates has been announced: June 25.

The event will in conjunction with the Money 20/20 Conference in Las Vegas.

“In a time of uncertainty, noise, and rapid acceleration, Underground: Collision of Contrasts invites you to lean in, look forward, seek clarity not from convention, but from curiosity and courage,” Mitchell Stankovic said in announcing the meeting date.

According to the company, the latest evolution of the Underground movement continues its “legacy of raw, real conversation that digs beneath the surface of headlines and hype.”

Mitchell Stankovic said the meeting is also designed to align with the forward-looking theme of this year’s Money20/20 conference: “Create the Future.”

‘Collide With Critical Events’

“The Underground Collisions were designed to collide with critical events, bring original, authentic ideas to conventional and traditional gatherings,” Susan Mitchell, CEO of Mitchell Stankovic & Associates, said in a statement. “Mitchell, Stankovic & Associates will host an Underground that captures this moment in time. There are no crystal balls to tell us what the future holds for the financial ecosystem. There are only contrasts that identify differences and metaphorical collisions that can be the birthplace of creativity, passion, and collaboration.”

Noting that “collision is not destruction, it’s energy,” Mitchell Stankovic said in this case collision is all about opposing forces meeting and new inspiration being formed.

The Panel

“Each panel theme will explore a different contrast of collision, revealing insights and opportunities that only come from intentional disruption,” the company said.

The panel discussions include:

  • Volatile Change – Scattering of Business Models
  • Challenged Assumptions, CUs & Fintech
  • Amplify Awareness and Growth – $1 billion members
  • Creation Through Conflict
  • Credit Union Shared Services (CUSS™) in Motion

Consequential Questions

“Underground: Collision of Contrasts is not about finding “the” answer. It’s about asking consequential questions,” Mitchell Stankovic said. “It’s about sitting in the space between extremes and sparking enlightenment that might create a new path forward—for credit unions, for fintechs, for community FIs—and for the unpredictable future of money. We can’t predict the future, but collectively, we are strong.”
