Robins Financial Doantes $192K to 60 Non-Profits

WARNER ROBINS, Ga. – Robins Financial Credit Union recently donated $192,000 to 60-six non-profit organizations through its annual Holiday Giving initiative, reflecting the credit union’s ongoing commitment to supporting organizations that provide essential resources and services to those in need.

To celebrate the contributions of these organizations, Robins Financial hosted a Community Champions event.

RFCU said the special gathering honored each non-profit for the meaningful work they do and recognized the positive impact they make in the lives of individuals and families across the region. Representatives from each selected organization were invited to attend, connect with fellow community partners, and be recognized for their dedication to service.

“The holidays can be especially challenging for families and individuals in need,” President and CEO Christina O’Brien said in a statement. “We’re thankful to be able to provide support to these organizations that work tirelessly to make our communities stronger.”

Each year, Robins Financial identifies organizations that demonstrate strong community impact in areas such as food assistance, housing support, youth development, healthcare access, veteran programs, and more. Among this year’s recipients was The Methodist Home for Children and Youth in Macon, Georgia.

“Our team at The Methodist Home is grateful to Robins Financial Credit Union for their partnership throughout the years and support of our mission to restore childhoods and strengthen families,” shared Diane Gilliam, Chief Development Officer of The Methodist Home for Children and Youth. “This gift supports our efforts to bring healing and hope to children and families throughout our community, impacting lives today and for generations to come.”

In addition to monetary donations, Robins Financial employees came together to collect essential items, including diapers, socks, scarves, hats, and care boxes. These donations helped support children and teens, individuals experiencing homelessness, and Meals on Wheels recipients within the communities the credit union serves.

Robins Financial is grateful for the opportunity to partner with these organizations to build stronger, more resilient communities. They look forward to continuing this tradition of service for years to come.
