SchoolsFirst FCU Hosts 10 CUs, Elected Officials as Part of ICU Day Event

TUSTIN, Calif.– SchoolsFirst Federal Credit Union welcomed 11 Orange County credit unions to the Credit Union’s headquarters in Tustin on Oct. 16 for International Credit Union Day, creating an “opportunity to share the accomplishments and lasting impact they make to improve the lives of their members.” 

SchoolsFirst FCU was joined by:

  • Comunidad Latina Federal Credit Union
  • Eagle Community Credit Union
  • Financial Partners Credit Union
  • Huntington Beach Credit Union
  • Nuvision Credit Union
  • Santa Ana Federal Credit Union
  • Sea Air Federal Credit Union
  • Southland Credit Union
  • Union Yes Federal Credit Union

Rep. Young Kim and Assemblyman Tri Ta, along with representatives from local assembly and congressional districts, presented proclamations to each of the credit unions in their legislative districts. 

Themed “Cooperation for a Prosperous World,” this international event offers the opportunity to remember credit unions’ history and promote awareness of and support for the credit union and financial cooperative difference, SchoolsFirst said.
