Securityplus FCU Partners With Caw to Action

BALTIMORE–Securityplus Federal Credit Union proudly joined the 2025 Caw to Action campaign, a global day of service powered by the Baltimore Ravens and United Way of Central Maryland.

Designed to uplift neighborhoods and create lasting impact, the event mobilized thousands of volunteers across the region in a powerful show of community strength.

Seventeen Securityplus employees stepped up to serve at Bay Brook Elementary/Middle School, where they led two second-grade classes through a day of fun, connection, and inspiration. Through five activity stations centered around Ravens-themed games, students not only played but also learned important lessons about teamwork, perseverance, and the value of showing up for their community.

“At Securityplus Federal Credit Union, we believe in the power of people coming together to create lasting change,” COO Jeff Gehris said in a statement. “Partnering with United Way of Central Maryland for the 2025 Caw to Action campaign allows our team to make a meaningful impact right here in our community. We are proud to stand alongside the Ravens, United Way, and so many others in this effort to uplift and support our neighbors.”

Taking place from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, the schoolyard event wasn’t just recess, it was a chance to reinforce positive values through play, and to show students that their community cares deeply about their growth and well-being, the credit union said.

It added that the initiative reflects Securityplus’ long-standing commitment to service, equity, and opportunity for all. Whether it’s through financial literacy, community partnerships, or volunteerism, Securityplus remains dedicated to building stronger neighborhoods, one act of service at a time.
