LEE’S SUMMIT, Mo.–Two Missouri credit unions said they have completed a merger.
Missouri Central Credit Union and Central Communications Credit Union said they are now operating as a combined entity, representing $125 million in post-merger assets.

The credit unions cited an expanded branch and ATM networ and enhanced digital services as benefits of the tie-up.
“We are excited to welcome Central Communications Credit Union members into the Missouri Central Credit Union family,” President and CEO Josh Wooley said in a statement. “As two mission-driven credit unions united by a commitment to our local Kansas City community and member-first service, this merger strengthens our ability to invest in cutting-edge technology, reduce rates and fees, and expand our footprint. Together, we will deliver more robust digital tools, deepen our lending capacity, and serve as the preferred financial services provider for individuals starting out, starting up, and starting over in Lee’s Summit and the greater Kansas City area.”
