  • The WellHouse

“Since we established our Credit Union Foundation in 2021, we’ve been able to expand our giving each year to include organizations who are the ones working every day to provide resources and make a difference in the lives of so many individuals and families in need,” SECU President and CEO Derrick Ragland, Jr., said in a statement. Ragland is also chair of the Southern Energy Credit Union Foundation.

“The nonprofits here tonight are doing essential work for our neighbors in need, from closing the healthcare and homeownership gaps to providing refuge to women, children and families who are victims of abuse,” Ragland said. “Each organization was personally chosen by a member of our Foundation board of Directors, and we’re honored to play a small part in helping them enact their missions.”
