Spokane Teachers CU Names New President and CEO

LIBERTY LAKE, Wash.–Spokane Teachers Credit Union has named a new president and CEO.

The $5.9-billion Spokane Teachers has selected Lindsey Myhre to lead the organization. Myhre succeeds Ezra Eckhardt, who left Spokane Teachers earlier this year.

Myhre, who grew up in Colville, Wash., and has been with the credit union for 25 years as of this month, previously serving as chief financial officer and executive vice president of the organization, joined the executive leadership team in 2015.

“While we have a deep bench of leadership talent, (Myhre) stands out as uniquely prepared for the top position,” STCU Chairman Steven Jones said in a statement.

Myhre becomes the sixth president of the 91-year-old credit union, which has approximately 300,000 members
