TDECU Opens New Lake Jackson Member Center

LAKE JACKSON, Texas–TDECU held a grand opening celebration for its new Lake Jackson Member Center.

TDECU was founded in Lake Jackson in 1955. The new location on Oak Drive at Center Way was selected to support the redevelopment of the city’s downtown renovations.

“We’re incredibly proud of this new milestone and what it represents: growth, innovation, and our unwavering commitment to the people we serve,” Travis Perez,  TDECU VP, market president, said in a statement. “This is a win for our members, employees, and the future.”

City of Lake Jackson Mayor Gerald Roznovsky expressed his support for the new location, stating, “To rebuild in the downtown area is very positive for the credit union, our community, and our economic development. That’s what we’re looking for. It’s going to bring more people downtown.”

The new site includes an expanded and digitally-focused lobby space, five drive-thru lanes, one dedicated commercial lane, four ATMS and 16 teller stations. With more staff on-site, the Lake Jackson Member Center will provide faster and more personalized service.

In addition to the ribbon cutting, Members were treated to face painters, shaved ice, hot dogs, a live DJ, and a performance by the Brazoswood Folklorico Dancers.

The former location on 1001 FM 2004 will be donated to the City of Lake Jackson, which will determine its future use.
