Glia in New Integration with CU*Answers
NEW YORK–Glia, a provider of customer interaction technology, said it has expanded availability of its Unified Interaction Management (UIM) platform through a new mobile app integration with CU*Answers. A CUSO, CU*Answers is harnessing Glia’s ChannelLess® platform to enhance its It’s Me 247 mobile banking app used by credit unions nationwide, the company said.

“Traditional approaches to mobile banking force members to leave their app and switch channels when they need help, creating frustrating experiences and lost context,” Dan Michaeli, CEO and co-founder of Glia, said in a statement. “By embedding our ChannelLess Architecture into the It’s Me 247 mobile app, CU*Answers is empowering credit unions to provide members the help they need, exactly when and where they need it, without historical mobile banking roadblocks.”
Unlike traditional contact center technology, Glia said its ChannelLess Architecture connects all channels, creating a single, continuous experience. With it, members and agents can seamlessly transition between phone calls, digital messaging, video chats and SMS — without losing context, the company said.
It added that early adopters of the Glia and CU*Answers mobile app integration include Hawaii Central Federal Credit Union, which is already using the partnership’s transformative support model to overcome some of its organization’s biggest pain points across digital and voice interactions.

Caro FCU Selects Tyfone
COLUMBIA, S.C.–Caro FCU has selected the nFinia digital banking platform from Tyfone.
The $129-million CU, which has 7,400 members, was looking for a digital banking “platform that offered innovative and creative digital features, not a standard digital banking template. Additionally, the credit union is focused on growing its touchpoints for members and sought more robust features to meet small business owners’ needs,” the company said.

Added CFCU CEO Anne Shiver in a statement, “With members across the U.S. as well as countries across the world, we needed a solution that could enable us to be at the forefront of technology and would expand our members’ financial capabilities from wherever they are located. We wanted a digital banking platform that would not limit us or our members in their financial journey. Tyfone’s nFinia platform empowers our members and small business consumers to access banking services from any touchpoint, helping them manage their money and plan for the future.”
The credit union partners with Brookland Federal Credit Union (Brookland FCU, $4.7 million in assets, 1,200 members), a minority credit union in the greater Columbia area. Given this unique relationship, it was important to Caro FCU that the new technology provider would support Brookland FCU members as well, the company added.
