SEATTLE-— Verity Credit Union has named Weatherli Holt as CFO.
“This appointment demonstrates Verity’s Commitment to building a diverse team that sets the standard for inclusive, socially responsible, and community-centered banking,” the credit union said.
Holt brings more than 23 years of financial industry experience to Verity’s executive leadership team, including 11 years as a credit union CFO. Leveraging her dynamic leadership style, she will oversee Verity’s financial strategy, investments and asset management, and technology and process optimization.

Verity added that her deep CFO expertise positions her to drive sustainable long-term profitability while building efficient processes that enhance team performance and create environments where success thrives.

Cultivating a highly engaged and experienced team allows Verity to ensure internal credit union operations are effective, enabling it to best serve its members. “Weatherli is a strong addition to the organization,” CEO Tonita Webb said in a sattement. “We’re building an executive team with the skills and strategic leadership abilities to support furthering our vision to dismantle systemic barriers to wealth creation and meaningfully reduce the generational wealth gap through accessible, equitable financial service offerings.”
As CFO, Holt will focus on initiating collaborative dialogue to ensure the correct filing of reports, performing risk modeling and managing key functions, including the balance sheet, investment portfolio and budget.
