Yet Another CU ATM Destroyed by Thieves

MANCHESTER, Conn.–Yet another credit union ATM has been destroyed by thieves attempting to steal it to break into it.

In this case, thieves used a stolen truck to break into an ATM at a Nutmeg State FCU location on Broad Street in the early morning, according to police and CTInsider.

Officers responded to Nutmeg State Federal Credit Union at 3:20 a.m. for an ATM burglary alarm, Manchester police said in a statement.

According to police, arriving officers found the exterior ATM door had been forcibly ripped off, and an unknown amount of cash was missing from it. Investigators said they determined a stolen white Ford F-250 truck was used to remove the door.

Three suspects wearing hoodies, masks, and gloves were observed on security footage involved in the theft, police said. The truck left the area but was later located unoccupied in Glastonbury.
