SAN ANTONIO –Soarion Credit Union celebrated the grand opening of its newest financial center on San Antonio’s Southside yesterday.
The Brooks City Base Financial Center, located at 2603 SE Military Drive, marks Soarion’s eighth location. Soarion staff, leadership, and board members were joined by business and community partners for a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by Southside leaders, educators, and residents.
The credit union said the new financial center reaffirms its commitment to empowering financial wellness and education in one of the city’s fastest-growing communities. Soarion said it has already partnered with several Southside area community and business organizations, and will host a series of free monthly financial literacy workshops, in collaboration with University Health’s VIDA Center, beginning next year, connecting health and financial wellness for local families.
“Our Southside community has voiced the need for accessible financial education and trusted banking solutions,” Ric Ledezma, Soarion Credit Union president and CEO, said in a statement. “Our new Brooks City Base Financial Center is a direct response to helping fill that need.
