Just 3 Years After Being Chartered, And With Net Worth of 2%, PTFCU is Conserved

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. –Just three years after it was chartered and with a 2% net worth ratio, NCUA has placed People Trust Community Federal Credit Union into conservatorship, citing unsafe and unsound practices.

Through Sept. 30, 2025, the $3.27-million People Trust FCU reported a $356,506 loss

The agency said member services will continue while NCUA works to resolve issues affecting the credit union’s operations, with services being provided by a branch of Arkansas Federal Credit Union’s in Little Rock.

People Trust Community members can continue to conduct normal financial transactions, deposit and access funds, make loan payments, and use shares.  The AFCU lobby is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. No drive through service will be available for People Trust Community member transactions.

PTCFCU has 1,796 members. It serves Pulaski and Saline counties in Arkansas.
