Vizo Financial Expands Education Efforts; Names Top 5 Reward Winners, Plus, Winning CUs

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Vizo Financial Corporate Credit Union said it expanded its education efforts in 2025, citing a record number of events it hosted, higher attendance at those events, the successful launch of its first Education Rewards Program.

In a statement, the corporate credit union said it hosted 70 educational experiences during the year, including webinars, workshops and conferences. More than 3,600 credit union employees participated, earning a total of 89 continuing professional education credits.

“As an organization that directly supports the success of credit unions, education is at the very core of what we do,” Jaime Agostino, Vizo Financial’s vice president of sales, marketing and education, said in a statement.

Agostino added the programs are designed to help credit unions stay informed about industry developments and prepare for future challenges.

First Year of Rewards Program

Vizo Financial also completed the first year of its Education Rewards Program, which allows participants to earn points for attending conferences, workshops and qualifying webinars. Points are tracked both individually and at the credit union level.

The top five individual point earners for 2025 received merchandise rewards. They were:

  • Cindy Amour, Riverfront FCU
  • Megan Deluca, Corner Post FCU
  • Jeanne Dotson, Henrico FCU
  • Dani Wickett, Mountain Laurel FCU
  • Shannon Ballenger, Penn State FCU

Credit Union Totals

Points earned by individuals also counted toward their credit unions’ totals, the organization said. The highest-ranking credit unions will receive free registrations for staff to attend Vizo Financial workshops or conferences in 2026, with the number of registrations based on ranking.

The top 10 credit unions in the Education Rewards Program for 2025 were:

  • Hershey FCU
  • Mountain Laurel FCU
  • Corner Post FCU
  • Penn State FCU
  • Mountain CU
  • Heritage Valley FCU
  • Corry FCU
  • Henrico FCU
  • Riverfront FCU

‘Incredibly Positive’

“It was an incredibly positive first year from our point of view, and we hope that credit unions continue to take advantage of our educational opportunities to expand their knowledge and their rewards in 2026,” Agostino said. In a statement.

Vizo Financial noted it also hosts multiple webinars each month and several major events annually, including its Financial Strategies Workshops, Risk Management Conference, Small Credit Union Workshop, Financial Conference and Payments Conference.
