First Financial CU Acquires Naming Rights to Amphitheater

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Isleta Amphitheater in Albuquerque will be renamed First Financial Credit Union Amphitheater after the credit union acquired its naming rights. The new name will debut with the 2026 season.

First Financial Credit Union previously sponsored the venue’s VIP club and the new partnership will provide members with Fast Lane entry and access to special events.

“This naming rights partnership allows us to show up for our community in a meaningful, highly visible way,” President and CEO Ron Moorehead said in a statement. “As a member-owned financial cooperative, we want people to understand that how they manage their money can be local, personal and purpose-driven — and this amphitheater helps us tell that story.”

The first show at the First Financial CU Amphitheater  is set to be Peso Pluma’s March 24 show.

Numerous Sponsors

The Isleta Amphitheater name dates back to 2013. The venue opened in February 2000 as the Mesa del Sol Amphitheater, then became the ABQ Journal Pavilion months later. The name remained until 2010 when it became known as The Pavilion at Hard Rock Casino, which lasted until 2013, according to local media.
