NASHVILLE, Tenn.– Enbright Credit Union has launched the Enbright Helps You Dance Foundation, a newly established 501(c)(3) charitable organization created to support and expand the impact of Enbright Credit Union’s Cancer Care Debt Relief Program.
“The Enbright Helps You Dance Foundation provides a tax deductible way for individuals, businesses, and community partners to financially support Enbright members who are facing the financial burdens that come with cancer treatment and recover,” the credit union said.
Donations made to the foundation will directly benefit members enrolled in the Cancer Care Debt Relief Program, helping offset medical related debt, everyday living expenses, and financial strain during treatment, the credit union said.
‘Every Part of Family’s Life’
“Cancer does not only impact health, it impacts every part of a family’s life including their financial stability,” President and CEO Ron Smith said in a statement. “The Enbright Helps You Dance Foundation allows our community and business partners to walk alongside our members during one of the most difficult seasons of their lives. This foundation gives people the opportunity to turn compassion into action.”
Foundation Purpose
According to Enbright, the Foundation will provide:
- Community Support: The foundation creates an avenue for vendors, businesses, and community partners to financially support Enbright members navigating cancer treatment.
- Tax Deductible Giving: All donations to the Enbright Helps You Dance Foundation are tax deductible and directly benefit members in need.
- Direct Impact: Funds raised through the foundation support Enbright Credit Union’s Cancer Care Debt Relief Program and related member relief efforts.
