River Valley CU Selects Velera for Debit, Credit Card Processing

BEAVERCREEK, Ohio–River Valley Credit Union has selected Velera to provide it with debit and credit card processing support.

The $492-million credit union has more than 27,000 members. 

In a statement, Velera said that while exploring debit and credit card processing options, River Valley CU sought a partner that could deliver reliable technology, seamless system integration and transparent pricing while scaling with its growing membership. The credit union ultimately selected Velera for its demonstrated commitment to understanding River Valley CU’s needs and delivering adaptable solutions designed specifically for credit unions, the company stated.

Prioritizing Member Experience

“At River Valley CU, we prioritize strategic partnerships that advance our mission and elevate the member experience,” RVCU SVP/CAO Peggy Mowry said in a statement. “As a trusted CUSO, Velera will help strengthen the infrastructure behind our card programs and enhance the security, convenience and overall value we deliver to our members.”

Velera will begin providing debit card processing services to River Valley CU in September 2026, with credit support to follow in June 2027.
