Plexcity CEO Tony Kitt Announces Retirement Date

ONTARIO, Calif. — Tony Kitt, president and CEO of Plexcity, the multi-association-owned company that provides a number of services, has announced plans to retire at the end of 2026.

Plexcity was formed by what was then the California and Nevada Credit Union Leagues, Maryland & District of Columbia Credit Union Association, and the then New Jersey Credit Union Association as shared-services cooperative to aggregate their back-office operations

Kitt has served as president/CEO since Plexcity’s inception, transforming the organization from an idea into a trusted and innovative partner within the credit union ecosystem. His leadership has been defined by a deep commitment to people, a bias for action, and an unwavering belief in the power of cooperation—especially as it can be accomplished through the league system in credit unions.

He helped advance early payments and fintech solutions and served on the board of Ensenta, contributing to its successful acquisition by Jack Henry,” the organization said. “His contributions have been honored through the Credit Union Museum’s Unsung Heroes exhibit and his induction into the African-American Credit Union Coalition Hall of Fame—recognition that reflects his enduring commitment to inclusion, opportunity, and leadership within the industry. Prior to joining the credit union movement, Kitt served 20 years as an officer in the United States Air Force in financial management staff and command roles.
