TRENTON, N.J.–Affinity Credit Union said it is partnering with the Trenton Thunder, a collegiate summer baseball team in the MLB Draft League, said it is partnering on the team as part of its 2026 promotion “Hits for Hope: Every Hit Makes a Difference Program.

Affinity Federal Credit Union has pledged $5 for every single, $10 for every double, $15 for every triple and $20 for every home run by a Thunder player to UrbanPromise Trenton.

Since 2011, UrbanPromise Trenton has worked to provide a path to better opportunities and a better future for children and youth, according to the team, which said the goal is to create and maintain programs that allow students the opportunity to progress in life skills, spirituality, and education with the support of a passionate team behind them.

In-Game Updates Provided

Fans will be introduced to the program each night upon entering the ballpark with a pre-game announcement, followed by in-game updates during the first inning or after the first qualifying hit. At the end of each game, a final announcement will share the total amount donated, the team added.

“Hits for Hope is a powerful way to connect the energy of the game with real impact in our community,” Ryan Marosy, VP-head of marketing at Affinity Federal Credit Union, said in a statement. “Every hit is more than a moment on the field—it’s a meaningful contribution to an organization making a difference across Trenton.”
