HILO, Hawaii–HFS Federal Credit Union (HFS FCU) is proud to announce the 20) outstanding scholarship recipients of their 2026 Scholarship Program.
For the past 15 years, the Credit Union has awarded over $350,000 in scholarships to more than one hundred thirty student members to help with their college expenses. Ten scholarships were awarded to graduating Big Island high school seniors and ten scholarships to current college students attending a 2-year, 4-year, or graduate program. Each recipient was awarded $3,000 for a total of $60,000 in scholarships for the 2026-2027 academic year.
