TruWest CU Offering Up to $400 Cash Back on Auto Loan Refi’s

TEMPE, Ariz. — TruWest Credit Union has launched a limited-time auto loan refinancing promotion that offers members up to $400 cash back for refinancing eligible vehicle loans from other lenders, according to a statement from the credit union.

The Auto Refinance Cash Back Campaign runs through Sept. 7 and is designed to help consumers reduce borrowing costs while earning a cash incentive, TruWest said.

Under the promotion, the amount of cash back members receive is tied to the size of the refinanced loan. The credit union said the program gives borrowers an opportunity to potentially lower their monthly payments, secure a more favorable interest rate and receive additional cash back.

“We know many consumers are looking for ways to improve their financial position and maximize their budgets,” Farid Farbod, senior vice president and chief lending officer at TruWest Credit Union, said in the statement. “This campaign is designed to reward consumers who refinance their vehicle loans with TruWest while helping them potentially save money over the life of their loan. It’s another way we’re delivering value and supporting our members’ financial well-being.”

Who’s Eligible

According to TruWest, the promotion is available to members who refinance an existing auto loan from another financial institution or finance company. Applications must be submitted by Sept. 7 to qualify.

The credit union said members may receive cash-back incentives on more than one refinanced auto loan, with each qualifying loan eligible for the promotion.

Current TruWest auto loans are not eligible, nor are loans for recreational vehicles, motorcycles or watercraft, according to the credit union.

TruWest said the campaign is available for a limited time and applies only to eligible refinanced automobile loans.
