The $249-million credit union announced it will once again offer its Family Sponsored Summer program, which runs from June 16 through July 21 and is open to the entire community. The initiative provides discounted admission to several local attractions with the goal of making family activities more accessible during the summer months.

According to The Family Credit Union, Family Discount Mondays will include:
- $6 admission to the Family Museum
- $5 admission to the Quad City Botanical Center
- $5 admission to the Putnam Museum and Science Center
‘Time for Making Memories’
“Summer is a time for making memories, and we’re proud to help create more opportunities for families to get out, explore, and enjoy everything our community has to offer,” Bre Bicksler, vice president of marketing for The Family Credit Union, said in a statement. “It’s important to us that these experiences are accessible to everyone, not just our members.”
In addition to the discounted admission program, the credit union said it is sponsoring several free community events in partnership with the City of Moline Parks and Recreation.
The sponsored events include:
- Bass Street Landing Concert on June 11
- Party in the Park on July 1
- Music on the Rock River (Rockin’ the River) on Sept. 14
The Family Credit Union said the programs are intended to support local organizations, strengthen community connections and create opportunities for families throughout the region to participate in recreational and cultural activities during the summer.
