TAMPA, Fla.– GTE Financial has named Alton Pardue as assistant vice president of Investments, bringing more than 20 years of financial services leadership and investment planning experience to the credit union’s growing investment team.

In his new role, Pardue will lead and support GTE Financial’s investment program by coaching advisors, strengthening partnerships across Community Financial Centers and expanding access to personalized financial guidance for members. His responsibilities include developing investment professionals, identifying opportunities for growth and helping to deliver a consistent, high-quality member experience.
Prior to joining GTE Financial, Pardue held leadership positions with several Fortune 100 financial institutions before transitioning into independent financial advising, where he worked with individuals and families on retirement planning, wealth management and long-term financial strategies. Throughout his career, he has remained focused on relationship-driven financial guidance that helps his clients to achieve meaningful financial outcomes.
“I’ve always believed financial advice should be relationship-driven, not transaction-driven,” Pardue said. “The credit union philosophy aligns naturally with that belief because it puts members first. What attracted me to GTE Financial was its commitment to improving members’ financial well-being while continuing to invest in innovation and growth.”
Pardue plans to focus on strengthening collaboration across the organization to make financial planning more accessible and create a seamless experience for all members. He believes that strong communication, trusted relationships and a shared commitment to service are essential to helping members achieve their financial goals.
“Everything we do should make it easier for members to receive thoughtful, personalized financial guidance,” Pardue said. “Financial success isn’t built overnight—it’s earned through consistency, trust and a genuine commitment to serving others.”
