JACKSONVILLE, Fla.–As it marks the 20th year of its VyStar Academy of Business High School Branch Program, VyStar Credit Union said it is also opening its 20th high school branch this year.
“For two decades, we’ve partnered with local schools to provide hands-on financial education, real-world experience and opportunities that help students build a strong foundation for the future,” VyStar said in a statement. “Now, there’s an easy way for you to be part of that impact.”
VyStar said that every time a card member uses one of its cobranded cards it donates five cents to the respective school, with the funds going to support student programs, activities and educational opportunities.
The $14.2-billion VyStar has more than one-million members.
