CUES Names Two CEOs to its Board

MADISON, Wis.—CUES has added two CU leaders to its board: Ray Lindley, president/CEO, CapEd Credit Union, and Gary Schuette, president/CEO, Oregon State Credit Union.

About the New Board Members

Lindley heads up the $1.4 billion CapEd Credit Union. Prior to being named president/CEO in 2025, he served as COO for Elevations Credit Union in Colorado and has nearly 30 years of experience in financial services. Lindley is a Certified Credit Union Executive (CCUE).

Schuette joined the $2.7 billion Oregon State Credit Union in 2024. Prior to Oregon State Credit Union, he served as chief financial performance officer for Vystar Credit Union and has more than 20 years of financial services industry experience. Schuette is a Certified Chief Executive (CCE) through CUES CEO Institute.
