ANN ARBOR, Mich. — University of Michigan Credit Union has signed a partnership with Michigan Wolverines wide receiver Andrew Marsh that will feature the sophomore football player in member events, community outreach and financial education programs during the 2026-27 season.
UMCU, the official credit union of Michigan Athletics, said the partnership grew out of an existing relationship with Marsh, who became a member of the credit union along with his family after arriving in Ann Arbor.
Financial terms of the partnership were not disclosed.
Marsh already has participated in UMCU’s Camp Ignite All-Star Broadcast event and its Behind the Uniform program, which provides student-athletes with financial education and tools for managing money, according to the credit union.
‘Authentic Relationship’
“At UMCU, we believe the strongest partnerships start with something authentic,” CEO Tiffany Ford said in a statement. “Andrew’s relationship with UMCU started as a member, long before there was ever a conversation about a partnership.”
Ford said Marsh’s work ethic, character and commitment to others stood out to the credit union.
Marsh said his experiences with the $1.4-billion UMCU’s financial education and community programs helped lead to the partnership.
“What I’ve seen from UMCU firsthand, through Behind the Uniform and their community events, is that they’re genuinely invested in the people around them,” Marsh said in a statement. “That’s the kind of partnership I want to be part of.”
Credit Union Creates ‘ATM3’
The partnership also includes what UMCU calls the “ATM3,” a custom mobile experience inspired by Marsh’s initials.
Introduced in July, ATM3 features prizes, giveaways and interactive activities for fans, families and young people at community events. UMCU said it plans to take the mobile experience to additional events during the upcoming football season.
UMCU members and others also will have opportunities to meet Marsh at credit union branches and special events beginning this fall.
Marsh Returns for Sophomore Season
Marsh enters his sophomore season after leading Michigan in receptions, receiving yards and receiving touchdowns as a freshman in 2025, according to UMCU. He also earned Freshman All-American honors.
Marsh returns to the Wolverines for the 2026 season under new head coach Kyle Whittingham.
UMCU, founded in 1954, has nearly 123,000 members and approximately 20 locations in southeast Michigan, according to the credit union.
