DAYTON, Ohio — Day Air Credit Union and the Dayton Dragons—the High A affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds–will host a free college-planning event tonight that will bring representatives from colleges and universities around the country to Day Air Ballpark and offer students a chance to win one of two $1,000 scholarships.
College Prep Night is scheduled for Sept. 9 from 6 to 8 p.m. and is designed to give prospective college students and their parents a one-stop resource for exploring higher education options, Day Air Credit Union said.

High school students will be able to speak directly with representatives from colleges and universities about academics, campus life and other aspects of attending their institutions.
Chance to Win Scholarship
Students who register in advance and attend the event will be entered for a chance to receive one of two $1,000 scholarships, according to the credit union.
“Supporting the financial well-being of our members and the community has always been at the heart of Day Air’s mission,” President John Theobald said in a statement. “We know that planning for higher education can feel overwhelming, and we’re proud to host College Prep Night as a valuable resource to help families navigate these important decisions with confidence.”
