ONTARIO, Calif. — Plexcity, a shared-services cooperative serving credit unions, leagues, CUSOs, and affiliated associations nationwide, today announced that Beth Ellis, CPA, will become its next president & CEO, effective Dec. 1.
Ellis succeeds Tony Kitt, who is retiring at the end of the year after leading Plexcity’s growth into a cooperative serving more than 50 client organizations with over 650 employees. Ellis joins Plexcity from the Wisconsin Credit Union League, where she currently serves as CFO/COO, overseeing finance, information technology, and human resources operations for the League and its affiliated entities. During her tenure, she led the implementation of new budgeting, accounting, and association-management systems that generated significant annual cost savings while strengthening internal controls and operational efficiency.
“Beth brings exactly the blend of financial discipline, operational leadership, and partner- first mindset that our next chapter demands,” said Paul Mercer, Chair of Plexcity’s Board of Directors. “Her experience leading finance, HR, and IT functions combined with her direct experience as a client of Plexcity’s own services gives her a rare, dual-sided understanding of what our partners need and how to deliver it. The Board is confident she is the right leader to guide Plexcity’s continued growth.”
Ellis holds a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Accountancy, both from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and has been a Certified Public Accountant since 2010. Her board and governance experience includes service with Reach Business Lenders, LLC and WCUL Services Corp., and Tristate Collaborative, LLC, a multi-league shared-services initiative where she currently serves as President.
