GREENVILLE, S.C. — So Much Good, which was formerly known as Your Marketing Co., has joined the newly created National Small Credit Union Association as a founding partner, the association said.
The partnership is scheduled to be announced Monday, Sept. 28, during So Much Good’s annual Client Strategic Jam, a gathering where credit union leaders and strategists discuss plans for growth.
The association was created to give small credit unions a national network focused on advocacy, education, collaboration and practical resources. It said the partnership will help connect challenges faced by individual credit unions with opportunities for shared learning and support.

“So Much Good understands both the importance of small credit unions and the realities their leaders face every day,” association CEO Josh Urbick said in a statement. “We share the conviction that small credit unions deserve more than encouragement. They deserve committed partners, practical resources and a national organization built around their needs.”
Increased Pressure
The organizations said rising technology costs, regulatory demands, limited staffing and increased competition are putting pressure on small credit unions. They argue those challenges should not automatically lead otherwise viable institutions to merge.
So Much Good has worked exclusively with credit unions since 2008. The firm said its change from Your Marketing Co. reflects an expanded role that combines research, organizational strategy, marketing, member experience and support for putting growth plans into practice.
“Small credit unions are not simply smaller versions of large institutions,” said Bo McDonald, So Much Good’s founder and president. “They serve people and communities in deeply personal ways, and once one disappears, it is incredibly difficult to replace what has been lost.”
As a founding partner, So Much Good will support the association’s efforts to expand access to growth resources and build a network of leaders and organizations focused on small credit unions. The announcement did not specify the resources to be offered or disclose financial terms of the partnership.
