Navy FCU Announces Increase in Base Hourly Pay for Employees

VIENNA, Va.–Saying the move is part of its continued investment in employees, Navy Federal Credit Union reported it increased its base hourly pay minimum from $18.51 to $22.00 per hour for regular full-time and part-time employees, effective Sept. 27.

“The increase reflects the credit union’s ongoing efforts to attract, develop and retain a high-performing workforce,” the $204-billion Navy FCU said. “The new hourly pay minimum is designed to help Navy Federal employees better meet their financial needs, support their families and contribute to the communities where they live and work.”

According to Navy FCU, the enhancement supports its broader strategy to attract, develop and retain the talent needed to serve the evolving needs of its more than 15 million members worldwide.

In addition to competitive pay, Navy Federal said it offers comprehensive benefits, retirement programs, health and wellness resources, and opportunities for professional development and career growth.

‘Support Throughout Careers’

“Together, these offerings support employees throughout their careers while strengthening the organization’s ability to deliver exceptional service to its members,” the world’s largest credit union said. “Eligible employees earning less than $22 per hour will receive an increase to the new hourly pay minimum, while newly hired eligible employees will start at the new hourly pay minimum.”

Navy Federal employs a workforce of over 25,000 and has a global network of more than 390 branches.
