ARLINGTON, Texas – Texas Trust Credit Union has received a MAC (Marketing Association of Credit Unions) Award for its highly impactful Fueling Kindness community campaign. This honor highlights outstanding marketing achievements and community impact within the credit union industry nationwide.
The Fueling Kindness campaign, which also earned a Diamond Award from America’s Credit Unions earlier this year, was a first-of-its-kind initiative for Texas Trust. It was an act-of-service event that allowed employees to directly engage with local residents, reinforcing the credit union’s core philosophy of being a neighbor first and a financial institution second, the credit union said.

During the hour-long surprise event at a Grand Prairie gasoline station, Texas Trust employees fueled 77 vehicles, helping nearly 80 families reduce their daily commuting burdens. In total, the credit union distributed $3,100 in direct monetary aid, including $100 bills and gas cards, while dedicating 20 staff hours to direct community engagement.
MAC Awards recognize the most creative, strategic, and results-driven marketing campaigns in the credit union movement. Winning this award underscores Texas Trust’s ability to combine strategic marketing with a deep commitment to grassroots community support.
“Winning a MAC Award for our Fueling Kindness campaign is an incredible honor that reflects the heart of our organization,” said Toni Nichols, AVP External Communications & Events for Texas Trust Credit Union. “This project was born out of a desire to provide tangible relief to our neighbors. Being recognized by our industry peers reinforces the idea that putting people first and leading with service is always the right investment.”
